WORD TO THE WISE #41: Do You Know Him?

Hi, all!!!

Today's Word to the Wise is a simple but very important question.

Do you know where you'll go once your life here on Earth is over? If you don't, I strongly urge you to get to know who Jesus Christ is.

He is the Son of God who came into the world in the form of man to live among us. He lived a sinless life but died an excruciating death on the cross for your sins and mine. Christ died to pay for our sins. Now, we don't have to die in our sins.

He rose from the dead on the third day with all power over sin, death and the grave. This gives you the right to eternal life.

If you want to receive this gift of forgiveness and eternal life, all you've got to do is:

1. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is the Son of God.
2. Believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead.
3. Pray - confessing your sins and asking for forgiveness.
4. Receive Christ into your life.

THAT'S IT!!

Now, walk in the newness of your life!

If you study your bible and pray regularly, God will show you ways that you can be a beacon of light for those still living that life you left behind.

That's our WORD TO THE WISE today! I pray it blesses you real good!!

If you already know Jesus Christ as your savior, I pray that you will share this post with at least three others who may or may not know where they'll be headed when this life is over.

"I am willing to forgive myself... for not taking time to deal with certain unpleasant memories."

"You don't have to be angry because you were not recognized or acknowledged as a child. No matter how hard you tried or how well you did, no one noticed. It may have seemed as if those who were a little better, a little bigger, a little smarter got all the attention. That may be true, but you don't have to be mad about that today. You don't have to be angry because the love you needed or wanted or sometimes demanded wasn't there for you. You were probably made to feel as if what you thought, what you knew, what you felt was not important. But, there is no reason to still be mad about it today.
As children, few of us were allowed to express anger. When we experienced anger, we had
